I like to listen to old music from the 30's 40's, and 50's. I also like classic rock and classic country. When I get in one of maniacle cleaning moods, I usually listen to old rock. But, I also love to listen to all of the Walt Disney movie soundtracks with my granddaughters. I would really like to find the soundtrack to the old movie: Moon Spinners. Working on it.

I love Harry Potter. Big fan. I've always loved fantasy. One of my favorite series is The Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Patricia Wrede. I also love to read funny murder mysteries. Again, my favorite series is by Anne George: The Southern Sister's. Those are just too funny to explain. I also enjoy reading Nora Roberts, (I'm pretty sure I've read all of her books), Dorothea Benton Frank, (I KNOW I've read all of her books, and Sandra Brown, (Again, pretty sure I've read all of her books.) Every once in a while, I'll go on an Arthur legends benge and read everything I can find on him. I've read lots of series. One of my personal favorites is the original by T.H. White. He is worthy of a reread every few years for sure. You can't beat him. But, there are many, many others and I've read lots of them.

My favorite movies are LOTR, Harry Potter, John Wayne movies, Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation, Barefoot in the Park, Walt Disney movie classics, (our favorite is Lady and the Tramp), and all of those wonderful LifeTime movies.

Monk is my favorite. I also enjoy watching 8 Simple Rules, Two and a Half Men, and David Letterman. I like Psyche also. Those two guys are fun to watch. I also love the Discovery Channel and the History Channel. Depends on what their topic is.

I wish I could be the best Nana ever. I wish that someday I will be able to teach American History to college students. I wish that my sons will always be safe and happy. My youngest soldier is soon to be deployed to Iraq for a year. When my oldest was there, it was the longest and hardest year of my life. I can't imagine what it will be like this time with my youngest soldier son. My nephew was killed in Iraq. Google him sometime if you are curious. He died a hero's death. His name is Dustin Wayne Peters.
